I needed a dog-friendly place to grab lunch so we stopped here. We chose Thai. I had the Spicy Thai Basil Fried Rice and my grand pup had steamed chicken breast. Food was great.
Great place to go when everyone wants something different. Love this concept! Eddy's Philly Cheesesteak made a great sandwich. The Jalapeño popper wonton "snack was delicious. Jasmine Thai's pad Thai was plentiful and good. Two different sandwiches from Soul and Skye grilled cheese were both delicious. Bar servers were very friendly and helpful- loved the ability to sample a couple ciders to help decide on full size servings. Great recommendations by the staff.
We got a few dishes at the Yard with a big group, they have incredible options and a wonderfully large sitting area with a bar to get drinks. We absolutely loved our experience there and trying so much good food from local vendors. 10/10 recommend if you're in the area!!
Here I was thinking Bend was a food truck Mecca in Oregon. Nope, we have nothing quite like The Yard - a dozen trucks offering a wide array of cuisines, a huge indoor tap room, lots of drink choices, beer, wine, liquor. I'm a fan.
Great location and wonderful workers on the site!!! Definitely will be coming back again. Also, THE FOOD CHOICES ARE AMAZING!!!!!!
Such a wonderful creation - love the variety of food trucks and cuisines. Clean bathrooms. Plenty of tables and variety of seats depending on who you are here with. Saw a calendar of live events and watch parties. Oh a wonderful way to bring community together. I had Pad Thai from the Thai food truck - it was delicious, with such generous amounts of food a I couldn't even finish it all after eating it for two meals!
What a fun place! 18 different food carts around a central indoor hall offer something for everyone! I had the pancit bowl with adobo chicken and lumpia. While the pancit itself wasn't particular flavorful, the chicken was amazing, and the lumpia was some of the best I've had! My friend had fish tacos and a veggie burrito and enjoyed her food as well. It's a very chill, relaxed place, and great for everyone. The bartender provided great service including managing the line to order. Most dishes ran $15-18 dollars and you place your order at the cart, get your buzzer, and pick up when ready. If I lived closer, I'd be there a lot!
This food cart pod has at least 18 food carts so choices are many & diverse. There WILL be something for any taste. AC is set at a comfortable temperature and plenty of large benches for sitting. A few outside table too. A nice bonus is free paper cups and ice water AND no signage restricting outside beverages. Sometimes people just want to drink tap water and not sweetened drinks. Location of pod is excellent roughly near intersection of Lancaster & State (easily accessible from I-5). Only downside is limited parking which could be an issue on weekend nights. Driveway in and out to State Street is tight so drive carefully.
Omg! What a lovely concept! I loved the variety of food trucks!! I couldn't make up my mind - ended ordering from multiple trucks. The chicken wings were incredible!! I got the secret sesame sauce and the lemon pepper. Would order again. Also got drunken noodles with chicken! It came out piping hot and was amazing. Best drunken noodles I've ever had!
